I know the site isn't live, but figured I'd add a few interesting tidbits to the news since I seem to still get a bunch of visitors. First, the Dressing Room window is fubar, so adding pictures is increasingly difficult and been slowed down until that fixes. So, to spend my time I've been working on the Housing Guide and finished Kelethin, link found here. Secondly, the Sales Displays have been broken off from Counters since they are so dramatically different, and that page is completed. Lastly, Fan Faire gave a Guild Hall Preview, my favorite writeup is over at EQtraders.com which has a lot of info on what is in store for us soon. And as such, "Guild Halls" will be added to the Housing Guide as well as an "Guild Hall Statues" and "Guild Hall Amenities" will be added to the Furniture database as soon as these items make it to the Test server. That's all for now! I'm still seeking help / staff to get the pictures and database in shape. I'm sure there's probably ~100 items or so missing from the database, but as of now we've got 1532 items in the database and 1030 images, though still around 3000 images missing (to get 3 images per item in the database). |

Back in February I bought a real house, so my Everquest time was at a minimal and spend mostly raiding or playing an alt, and not working on this site. With the Guild Halls on the horizon, and the LU46/47 World Event items, updates are desperately needed if we're gonna launch by September and the Guild Hall release. Look for a bunch of new updates :) Added all LU46 House items, Kunark Faction Recipes, Feed Duggin! Quest rewards,and the new Red Shiny items into the database, pictures to follow. Database reached 1509 items today! |

I know I have been lax in the updates lately, I just bought a house so that ate up quite a bit of time. Added another 50 images and a few more items today with more to come later. |

Yesterday I was invited into the home of Llieam on the Lucan D'Lere server to view his collection of paintings. Not only did he have every claimed painting from a legacy character from EQ1, every claimed image from the purchase of EQ2, every claimed painting from the Desert of Flames Digital Download, and every painting from Legends of Norrath (both seasons) but he had quite a collection of other rare items as well. Check out the Paintings and Wall Hangings section to view his collection, as well as many other decorations for your walls. Should you wish to visit his house, it is located at 4 Bayle Court in Qeynos, Lucan D'Lere server. A bunch of other updates as well including all of the Tradeskill / Crafter Stations, tons of new pictures, and a bunch of new item submissions from Kunark. |

A big but unnoticable overhaul to the site went in today. Where in the past the different furniture pages were altar.php, chair.php, etc. I went and added code so that it all uses a basic page. Ultimately this will speed up the site and make it much, much easier to add pages in the future. I also went and added some code to truncate text to 30 characters on names and 60 characters on descriptions on the catalog to prevent the wrapping issues it was having. A lot of item updates as well, keep the submissions coming! As of today the database has 1405 items and 730 pictures. |

Welcome to Everquest 2 Home and Garden. Obviously the site is still a massive work in project, and I'd love *your* help to get it up and running. I created this site to fill the void that was recently created as all of the other database sites went offline or aren't actively maintained. First, a quick tour for you all. The Furniture button to the left is the home for the entire database, currently including 1300 items. These items are broken up into a number of different categories. Each item that comes up you can then click on to display a variety of information on obtaining the item and what its cost / status rewards are ... and of course, some pictures. Each item, one day, will have at least 4 pictures. The first is from the Dressing Room window in game. The second is the item placed in a home. The third is the examine window details. Images four through nine are other samples of the item placed in a home. A good example is probably Eva's Altar of Tunare. The Housing Guide will one day hold floorplans, costs, and addresses of all of the housing options in game. Decorating Tips will be member submissions of their homes or tips with images and so forth taken from our Forums. Eventually when Guild Halls are released its my goal to tackle them here as well. I'm just one person and I appreciate any and all help, especially with image submissions. The images should be 400x400 pixels (the icons are 44x44 pixels) if you have the knowhow to crop an image, else the raw file from the screenshot. Feel free to send these in or post changes in the appropriate place on the forums.And of course, include your character name and server so I can acknowledge your assistance - when I figure out where and how I'm gonna do that :) Welcome again, Kelrax Bladesinger <Prism> | |
